Using the Yaesu FT-470 with the Cedaredge Repeater – Questions

Gary [Lindberg] here (KD0UPN)

Last week I tried to enter the Sun evening net and managed to hear everything but was unable to send. I have two Yeasu FT 470’s. It is supposed to have a preset offset but no tx. Any suggestions from anyone. I will be on the air again but only to listen.

  1. Tom Lamb says:

Check the offset +600, and PL 107.2. Not sure the PL is always needed but should be sent anyway. I can work the repeater with two watts inside my house in Montrose.
