One Response to September 2015 Meeting: Photos

  1. Larry, W0OGH says:

Looked like KI0KY was dozing off! Realistically though, i’m thinking of buying a house in Olathe, on the west side of town up on the Mesa. Can someone tell me if there are antenna height restrictions in Olathe? Not going over 60 ft for the tower but probably another 10 or so feet up with a mast and multiple antennas.

How is HF propagation from there? Looks to me like the whole area is well below the rim of the surrounding mountains but the mountains or radio horizon may be far enough away that it wouldn’t bother signals. Anything happen there on 6M during the peak months of May-July?.

    Thanks
