Grand Junction Club Will Host Technician Instruction Class

The Western Colorado Amateur Radio Club (WCARC) (not associated with the Montrose Amateur Radio Club) will be conducting a Technician License class in January 2016. Classes will be held from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, Thursday Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28. Testing will be Thurs Feb. 4. The only cost to the student is the testing fee of $15.00 at the time of testing. Location is the Ute Water Offices at 2190 H 1/4 Road, between Grand Junction and Fruita, off of Hwy 6 & 50. Map at If you are interested please contact KDØUKO at mthowdy[at]mac[dot]com. The instructer will be Kendall Glad, KØKDG, an Extra Class License holder.

(Webmaster’s Note: Students would be well-advised to bring the ARRL License Manual for Ham Radio with them.)
