Ham in Gunnison needs some antenna help

A request has been made for some assistance for Clair Veech KE0MVO, age 80 that lives in Gunnison to move a Butternut HF6V antenna from its current ground mounted location to atop his metal roof.

Since turning 80 he feels it best to stay off roofs. The roof is a metal roof with a 8 12 pitch to it. He’s offered to throw a few burgers on the grill for volunteers to survey and assist with the move.

If you are interested in helping, please let me know so I can give you his email address to contact him directly.

My best and prayers to anyone helping and climbing on a hot metal roof!! Wear thick leather gloves, knee pads and a wide brim hat!!
